Heart

The word Reposition was just not working for me. I wanted to explore the word Heart. I am not a cool thinking person when it comes to decision making, but I did use my reason a lot in making choices. Always asking what is the best choice. Second or third is the question: what would you want? And when faced with such a question, I have a hard time making a choice. Figuring out what I really want is not that easy for me.

Would I be able to make decisions based on feelings, on what feels good in my heart? Is 2011 the year for me to try this?

I just wanted to tell you that I am loving this journey you are posting. I've been watching it very avidly.

I thought my word for the year was "balance." What I've been discovering is, not so much. *LOL* I made a grid and I've been putting all the words in there that seemed important, but not THE word. By now it contains "grow, balance, risk, yes, focus."

And then it hit me. Right around the New Year, I'd done a set of prayer flags that said "Inspire" and hung them in my studio and not given them another thought. Then I spent all this time agonizing over just the right word, when it was hanging there in front of me. We're halfway through February, and the penny just dropped. Inspire. Yes...

Here is hoping that your word reveals itself to you soon, but oh my gosh I am loving the journey you are illustrating!

I'm a bit late in finding your blog. I also participated in the One World One Heart giveaway. I didn't win anything but I had fun. I just found your blog today and am loving it so much. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with your audience. My word so far seems to be VOICE. Now I want to find just the perfect (or imperfect) book to use as an art journal. I love yours.
